qla-tools software package provides QLogic Linux tools for work with QLogic HBAs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qla-tools
qla-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qla-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qla-tools *
You will get with qla-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
